Whole/Half Pork - Eating the Harvest Season

Living with the season means stocking the larder (the old timey words we used to call pantry, from pork lard!), so cold weather brings easy nourishment.

A whole or half hog is the very best way to stock up

Benefits to Buying a

Whole/Half Hog

- You save big time!!  (see details below)

- You get to order whatever kinds of cuts you want (we will guide you through the process) so everything you get back is exactly tailored to you and what you cook.

-You get to support real food grown with love by us!

-You get to participate in destroying factory farms and building a new food system, from the ground up!

-You get to know that your food does have a face and that face lived a true life, and to participate in that sacred process of the cycle life on earth, knowing that your piggy lived enjoying the sunshine on it's body, loved every day of playing with their buddies outside, getting in muck and eating grass, twigs, and herbs to their heart's content.

-You and your family's bodies get to take in real nutrition and thrive (did you know that real pasture-raised pork fat has the highest amount of bioavailable Vitamin D of any food on the planet?)

-You get to solidify your neck of the food system - by investing in real food from us, you help Copia get stronger and able to regenerate more land; feed more of our local community in Central Ohio more nutrient-dense, clean foods that make us thrive; and exclude more animals out of the nefarious conventional food system.

-You get to shape your world getting better, and better, one bite at a time.
